When the Peltier units got in, we were so pumped we had to break them out and hook them up to see the awesomeness! 90 watt Peltiers connected to a old AMD 4400+ heatsink and fan. The “cold side” surface is heated to 115~F (46~C) with a heat gun before we put the juice to it. Within a minute the “cold side” is 0~F (-17~C).
The video doesn’t show the test where the heat gun is left on, (115~F applied to the cooling unit throughout the test) which it keeps at a consistent 75~F (24~C).
