Good game notebooks please.?

I'd like to play some computer games such as Shadowrun and the upcoming Gears of War. This computer I got now says it could run Doom 3 and its a 2004 model and it's not even that good. I used the "Can You Run It?" software that scans your computer. What notebooks could run Shadowrun and Gears. A price estimate would rock. I love my HP and I'd prefer them, but Dell and others would work. Links too. Thanks.
I could have possibly forgot to say I'm attempting to work on a $1,000 or around that budget.
Well your going to want a Laptop with a good processor. Maybe around 1.8 to 2.5GHZ.. and a laptop with a good video card such as 512mb or 1gb… i suggest the website
