ALL QUESTIONS CAN BE ANSWERED HERE! My laptop and what it can do. All these games are running on maximum quality and recorded with fraps. The games are 1.call of duty 2. Halo 3. Half-life 2 4. Pyschonauts 5. Trackmania: sunrise 6. Warcraft III 7. Worms 4 mayhem My laptop stats are 1.6ghz cpu, 512mb of ram, 256mb video card and DirectX 9.0c PLEASE NOTE: This is a fairly old computer but I find it more a gaming computer because it can run recent games like Half-life 2 episode 2. And for xtream3amer, I’d like to suggest you to wait before gettin a new rig, there is a huge dark cloud above laptop computer especially those with Nvidia gpus’, plus ATi gpus’ are not enough powerful cuz they are almost mid-range gpu. Just a suggestion if you plan on buying a new one!

Now the hard drive …
Now the hard drive crashed and I need to put windows XP back into it. It only lasted a month. Not long. But I had problems with the hard-drive from day 1 since I got it from EBay. Every-time I tried to install something over 500mb. It would just freak out and make this LOUD and high pitched beeping noise followed by the blue screen ‘o’ death. I’m more into consoles now. So what do you think. Should I sell the laptop or the hard-drive? It is a 120 gig drive and I paid $80 for it.

I had a sound card problem. A month or two back. Its sound just kept cutting out for no reason. But I just kept on re-booting the computer and installing the sound card driver again. I some how managed to repair it this way.
