I’m getting a laptop, and up until about an hour ago, Ive heard from everyone 4 things. 1) Alienware makes the BEST gaming laptops. 2) Dell sucks 3) Get the best CPU you can find and gaming will be faster and 4) XP all the way/ Vista sucks. What I need is to know if these statments are true or false, and why…
I find that quite funny, alienware is owned by dell. So 2 has to be incorrect, I love my Dell! I don't even know where that idea could have come from!
CPUs definitely make gaming faster but it isn't the only thing to worry about, all games have a video card capacity which will prevent you from buying the latest games, I find the video card is the number1 concern with gaming computers.
And get XP, not Vista. just google vista to get a billion reasons.
EDIT: If you can, make sure to get Dell's H2C feature. It's supposed to reduce overheating problems that are a huge with laptops.
