Alienware 2 processors

Another Alienware question.

Does every alienware have 2 processors? The most processor on an alienware from the site is 2.33 GHz.

So if it has 2 1.66 GHz processors, it equals to 3.52 GHz?

I guess you’re talking about a dual core.  I know that’s newt true because alienware is an offers quad core processors in their PC too. The Intel Core 2 duo is actually a quad core. it is two dual core processors essentially “glued” both together so that it amounts to 4.  to answer your question about the speed,  that is true, only if the software you are using supports dual or quad core processing. you need to double check on the applications you will be using most to be sure that you do not want a really fast 3Ghz single core or such instead of something like a 2.0Ghz dual core/quad core.

Ya but for the most part though today’s software do at least support dual core.
